GIGI Instyle’s owner, Rajna Jollie, has more than 30 years experience as a professional hair and makeup artist. She has been working in the Hawthorn area since 1985 and has seen the precinct grow into a high-end cultured community.
Throughout her career, Rajna has delivered professional expert advice and service on trending styles for cutting, colouring, extensions, bridal/special occasion fashions and make-up. She also freelances on other professional platforms such as the film and photographic industries and provides service for celebrity red carpet. She has also been employed by major brands to promote their products through education in the hairdressing industry.
With her calming nature and her strong people skills, Rajna is a natural leader. She has mentored many apprentices, including senior stylists & salon owners and is dedicated to continuing her vision of artistic hair sculpture and make-up artistry. She has cultivated her passion in hair and makeup with her keen eye for detail, along with her precision cutting (Vidal Sassoon trained) and styling skills.
Her freelance work can be found on billboards around Melbourne, television commercials, magazines or other print media ads and film. Working the Salon floor or on a film set, Rajna loves creating and collaborating artistically.
Rajna believes to create change in the world, you have to be an advocate of change. She dedicates her spare time to give back and support her nominated charities.

We believe a luxury salon experience should be standard, and our clients feel welcome, nurtured and comfortable. The experience includes fresh pastries daily from Gontran Cherrier, organic tea, coffee and other treats.
Our mission is to educate clients about the health benefits of natural and vegan products. We handpick all products and take the time to ensure they live up to our expectations and values.
The products we are proud to use include De Lorenzo, Nak Hair, Erayba and Alfaparf. We prioritise Australian-made products. We want our clients to recreate their style at home if they like, and only sell products that meet their needs.
